Review: This book may be alright for someone who has studied German before, but I cannot recommend it for a beginner because of the errors. Some are obvious and the beginner will recognize them, but others the beginner may not recognize. I recommend purchasing Schaum's German Grammar, 6th edition. It is up to date and will be more useful. There is enough to learn when learning a language, that one does not want to learn wrong things, and then have to learn them again correctly.

Review: This book has plenty of errors, and the instruction/explanation is largely worthless. I'm a trained linguist and have studied 5 other languages in the past - I gave up on this book. It's not worth the headache of trying to figure out what they mean.

are German learning essentials not only to those seeking to learn the language, but also an invaluable tool for those
that have already had a taste of German but would like to refine their reading, writing and speaking skills. The first
book deals with the basics of sound pronunciation and other important basic language learning information. Each chapter
in the book specializes in something different, but ultimately leading to a better understanding of the German language.
The second book deals with short German stories that include the English translation, thus making it easier for learners
to try to interpret what they just read in German without having to look at a translation dictionary. The stories are short,
but the information on how to form sentences and how to use the correct way of writing and speaking structure is what
gives it the most value. Lastly, The German Phrasebook gives you a basic introduction to common German words. Unlike
other books dealing with German phrases, this book gives you an initial breakdown of common words, and how to write
and pronounce them correctly. All in all, this trio package is a must-have for any language learning enthusiast, or even for those that can already speak and write in the target language as a tool for polishing their reading, speaking, and listening skills.

Review: I am a native English (American) speaker with very little background knowledge of the German language, so I really appreciated that this book was simple enough for me to follow, but challenging enough to grow me and really give me a good grammatical foundation, as well as a nice list of phrases. I would highly recommend this for the beginner or someone trying to review their out-of-practice German skills. I found that, after going through this book, which is only intended for beginners, I felt ready to try conversation with a native German speaker in practice, which is something I would normally not do after just a beginning level language book. Very good!

Title: Great Resource!!

Review: I am a native English speaker and am teaching myself German out of personal interest. I have used this book in addition to videos and other resources and have found it to be very well laid out and easy to understand. It is systematic and easy to follow and to read. The only thing I would like is an answer key and more exercises to practice what I have learned.
Overall, an excellent resource for anyone looking to learn german grammar and understand this beautiful language. Highly recommended!!!
